My life, and therefore how I view the world and navigate through it,  has been shaped by many beautiful and two tragic moments. I have been lucky enough to see much of our country, a bit of the world, to have grown up in the Midwest but ventured out enough to know that it’s where I belong. I’ve made some pretty serious career decisions, leaving education to pursue a law degree, leaving a job surrounded by great people to pursue what I truly believe is best for my clients and my family. I’ve soared through meeting the love of my life, marrying her, and raising our son together and suffered through the loss of both of my parents in my 30s. Professionally, I have been a guiding hand for families through some difficult times, venturing to provide certainty in a world where so many things are outside of our control. Born in 1983, I think I’ve already lived a pretty full life, experiencing life’s most serious situations both in my home and in my office.

I founded Ayers Rock Planning, Inc. to help clients reduce risk in their lives. Risk of loss of income from sudden illness. Risk of loss of savings from terrible sicknesses. Risk of loss to increased taxes that can sap  a life’s savings in retirement. My perspective as an attorney with years of experience organizing legacies through legal documents allows me to provide a bit of a different view to clients than other professionals without that experience.  Too many tax people, financial people, and, frankly, attorneys, react to ideas by saying, “No” instead of asking, “How” and this key difference in perspective can mean a world of difference when it comes to someone’s money, legacy, and happiness in life.
